1. Service

SimpleBeacon provides open-source CLI and MCP tooling (local release-hygiene gate) and optional paid deliverables (formatted clearance PDFs and agency certificate packs). The CLI is available on GitHub and publishing to npm as simplebeacon. Free-tier usage runs on your machine and does not require uploading source code to SimpleBeacon.

2. Executive clearance PDF ($499 flat)

Optional paid deliverable: a formatted PDF from your local gate report JSON, with operator review. Default delivery path: you run scan --gate --offline locally and send the report. Optional read-only repository access may be arranged if you cannot run the CLI. Deliverable within 48 business hours after we confirm your gate report (or agreed access). Not a guarantee of security or legal compliance.

3. Accounts & billing

Paid deliverables are invoiced or paid via agreed payment link before work begins. Optional future hosted products may use Stripe; those terms will be published separately. You are responsible for accurate billing contact information.

4. Acceptable use

You may only scan repositories you own or are authorized to analyze. Do not use the service to attack third-party systems or exfiltrate data without permission.

5. Read-only scans

Default scan modes are read-only. Optional merge/quarantine features require explicit confirmation and are your responsibility to review before execution.

6. Disclaimer

Scans are deterministic pattern matching — not a guarantee of security or compliance. Results are scoped to configured rules and paths. See published trust metrics for scope.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimpleBeacon’s liability is limited to fees paid in the twelve months preceding a claim.
